aFe Power Magnum FLOW OE Replacement Air Filter with Pro 5R Media is a direct drop-in for the 991 Turbo S. It replaces the factory paper element in the standard airbox with no modification, and aFe measures it as a 24% increase in flow — which on a twin-turbo engine is airflow you can actually use.

This is the oiled filter. Pro 5R uses five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze, factory-oiled — the highest-flowing drop-in media aFe makes. It is washable and reusable, but it has to be cleaned and re-oiled at service intervals with aFe's Pro 5R restore kit. Go easy on the oil: an over-oiled element can contaminate a mass airflow sensor, which is an expensive lesson on this car. If you would rather skip oil entirely, the identical filter is available in dry synthetic media as Pro DRY S, part number 31-10276.

Note: Part number 30-10276 is supplied as a single filter. The 991 Carrera and GT3 take a different aFe part number. Clean and re-oil at regular service intervals using aFe's Pro 5R restore kit — oiled-filter cleaner plus blue filter oil. Do not over-oil: excess oil can foul the mass airflow sensor. aFe states this product does not require a CARB EO number.
