aFe Power Magnum FLOW OE Replacement Air Filter with Pro DRY S Media is a direct drop-in for the 991 Turbo S, and outflows the disposable paper element it replaces — without introducing filter oil anywhere near a boosted intake tract.
This is the dry filter. Pro DRY S uses three layers of progressive oil-free synthetic media. It gives up a little peak airflow to the oiled Pro 5R and hands back a filter you wash, dry and refit — nothing to over-apply, and nothing that can migrate onto a mass airflow sensor. On a 560 to 580 horsepower car where sensor replacement is not cheap, that is a trade worth making. If you want maximum airflow instead, the oiled version is part number 30-10276.

Clean at regular service intervals with aFe's dry-filter cleaner only — never apply filter oil to Pro DRY S media, and let the element dry fully before refitting. aFe states this product does not require a CARB EO number.
