aFe Power Magnum FLOW OE Replacement Air Filters with Pro DRY S Media replace both factory paper elements in the 981 Boxster S and Cayman S, and outflow them comfortably — without ever needing a bottle of filter oil.

This is the dry filter. Pro DRY S uses three layers of progressive oil-free synthetic media. It gives up a little peak airflow to the oiled Pro 5R and gives you back a filter you simply wash, dry and refit. Nothing to over-apply, and nothing that can migrate downstream onto a mass airflow sensor. For a 981 that gets driven year-round rather than tracked, it is the easier filter to live with. If you want maximum airflow instead, the same pair in oiled cotton gauze is part number 10-10131.
