This is an insert-type cartridge, not a complete strut — it fits rebuildable strut housings only. B6 Performance dampers are a direct upgrade over OE, engineered to pair with your factory springs. Application-specific valving and monotube construction eliminate the aeration and fade that soften twin-tube dampers on a hard drive, giving consistent control cold or hot.
