The Bilstein B8 Performance Plus front strut assembly, part number 35-122203, is the front strut for a 987 Boxster or Cayman that has already been lowered. A complete monotube gas-pressure strut with a shortened body, valved to control a lowered chassis properly.

For lowered or sport suspension only, and for cars without PASM. Fits the 987 Boxster and Cayman, 2005-2012. B8 Performance Plus is built specifically to pair with aftermarket lowering springs or factory sport suspension. The shortened body is what makes that work — and it is also why this is the wrong part for a stock-height car. If your car sits at factory ride height, buy the B6 Performance instead. If it has PASM, this part will not work — you need a DampTronic damper.
