The Bilstein B8 Sport shock absorber for the first-generation Cayenne. A shortened monotube gas-pressure damper built specifically for vehicles running lowering springs or a sport suspension setup.
Important: B8 is not a stock-height damper. The body is deliberately shortened so it has the correct travel and spring tension when paired with lowering springs. Fitted to a Cayenne at factory ride height it will run out of travel and ride badly. If your vehicle is at standard height, the B6 Performance damper is the correct choice instead.
Where it belongs — on a lowered car — B8 delivers precise handling, optimised vehicle control and a genuinely sporting response, with all the fade resistance that monotube gas-pressure construction brings.
