BMC FB286/08 Replacement Air Filter is a direct-fit panel for the 3.2 Carrera. It sits in the factory airbox exactly where the paper element did and outflows it, with no modification to the car and nothing to fabricate.

BMC is the oiled-cotton option, made in Italy. Multi-layered cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil, wrapped in an epoxy-coated alloy mesh that resists petrol fumes and humidity. BMC rates the media at 7 microns against roughly 10 for OEM paper — finer filtration and more airflow at once. It arrives pre-oiled and is cleaned and re-oiled with a BMC regeneration kit rather than binned. Apply oil sparingly at service time.
