BMC FB420/01 Replacement Air Filter Kit is the washable filter set for the Carrera GT. BMC supplies this part number as a full kit — every element the V10 takes, in one box — and it fits the original airboxes with no modification.
BMC is the oiled-cotton option, made in Italy. Multi-layered cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil, wrapped in an epoxy-coated alloy mesh that resists petrol fumes and humidity. BMC rates the media at 7 microns against roughly 10 for OEM paper. On a car where filters are neither cheap nor commonly stocked, a washable set that stays with the car is worth more than the airflow.
