BMC FB550/08 Replacement Air Filter Kit covers the 997.2 Carrera range and the Panamera GTS. BMC supplies this part number as a full kit — everything the car needs in one box — and it drops into the standard airbox with no modification.

BMC is the oiled-cotton option, made in Italy. Multi-layered cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil, wrapped in an epoxy-coated alloy mesh that resists petrol fumes and humidity. BMC rates the media at 7 microns against roughly 10 for OEM paper — more airflow and finer filtration together. Supplied pre-oiled and regenerated with a BMC cleaning kit. Apply oil sparingly at service time; over-oiling is how filter oil ends up on a mass airflow sensor.
