BMC FB798/20 Replacement Air Filter is the drop-in panel for the 991 and 991.2 Turbo and Turbo S, up to and including the Turbo S Exclusive Series. It fits the factory airbox with no modification.

BMC is the oiled-cotton option, made in Italy. Multi-layered cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil, wrapped in an epoxy-coated alloy mesh that resists petrol fumes and humidity. BMC rates the media at 7 microns against roughly 10 for OEM paper — on a 520 to 607 horsepower engine, extra airflow that does not cost you filtration is exactly the trade you want. Supplied pre-oiled and regenerated with a BMC cleaning kit. Apply oil sparingly at service time.

Note: BMC lists FB798/20 without a multi-filter annotation — it is supplied as a single filter. The 991 Carrera and GT3 take a different BMC part number. Clean and re-oil at service intervals with a BMC regeneration kit; use BMC filter oil only and apply it sparingly.
