BMC FB812/01 Replacement Air Filter drops into the original airbox on a K-Jetronic 911 and replaces the paper element for good. No trimming, no adapters, no modification — it is shaped to the factory box and sealed by a full-moulded rubber frame.

BMC is the oiled-cotton option, made in Italy. Multi-layered cotton gauze soaked in low-viscosity oil, wrapped in an epoxy-coated alloy mesh that resists petrol fumes and humidity. BMC rates the media at 7 microns against roughly 10 for OEM paper — finer filtration and higher flow at the same time. It arrives pre-oiled and is cleaned and re-oiled with a BMC regeneration kit rather than thrown away. Go easy on the oil at service time; over-oiling an element is the one way to get filter oil somewhere it does not belong.

Note: BMC lists FB812/01 without a multi-filter annotation — it is supplied as a single filter. Clean and re-oil at service intervals with a BMC regeneration kit; use BMC filter oil only, and apply it sparingly. Let the element dry fully before refitting.
