K&N 33-2530 High-Flow Replacement Air Filter is the drop-in element for the turbocharged air-cooled 911 — the 930 in 3.0 and 3.3 form. It fits the original airbox with no modification and outflows the paper filter it replaces, which matters more on a boosted engine than anywhere else.
Oiled cotton, the original high-flow media. K&N layers oiled cotton gauze between epoxy-coated aluminium mesh, rated to flow up to 50% more air than a disposable paper filter and tested in an ISO 5011 laboratory. Supplied pre-oiled; washed and re-oiled with a K&N Recharger kit rather than replaced, with up to 50,000 miles between cleanings under normal driving. Apply oil sparingly at service time.
