Porsche 911 Turbo 3.6 TT ECU Tuning – M64 Optimized Performance | 993 1997–1998
This isn't a generic flash. Our 993 Turbo calibrations are developed in-house, optimized on the dyno, and tested on the street and track. Every map is built around your fuel, your hardware and how you actually drive the car — maximum power with factory-level refinement and reliability.
Estimated on a healthy car with known-good fuel:
- 402 hp → 448 hp — estimated gain of +46 hp
- 400 lb-ft → 448 lb-ft — estimated gain of +48 lb-ft
- Fuel maps available for 91, 93 and 100 octane
- Adjustable throttle response and boost timing
- Calibrated for consistent performance in all conditions
The 993 Turbo runs the M64 3.6L twin-turbocharged air-cooled flat-six — the last air-cooled 911 Turbo Porsche built, and the first with twin turbochargers and all-wheel drive. The factory calibration is conservative by any modern standard, and the engine's reputation for durability is well earned. This calibration is for the 1997–1998 car; the earlier 1995–1996 Turbo uses different engine management and takes its own file.
Before you order, talk to us. Air-cooled cars of this era vary in diagnostic interface by year and market. Get in touch first so we can confirm the read process for your specific car before anything ships.
What's included:

- Optimized boost, ignition timing and fuelling for your specific car
- Throttle response and drivability refinement
- Fuel map matched to the octane you actually run — 91, 93 or 100
- OBDII data cable shipped to you
- Same-day file turnaround once we have your stock read
What we need from you:
- Your factory stock file, read with the cable we send you
- A complete list of current modifications
- Vehicle details and VIN

Before you order:
- Power figures are estimates, not guarantees. Results vary with fuel quality, altitude, ambient temperature, mechanical condition, supporting modifications and dyno methodology.
- Mechanical condition — tuning raises cylinder pressure and driveline load. The car must be sound first, and on a thirty-year-old air-cooled turbo car that matters more than on anything else we tune. Pre-existing faults revealed or accelerated by tuning are not our responsibility.
- Accurate information required — we build the file from what you tell us. An unmodified stock read and an honest description of the car, its modifications and its condition are required.
- Warranty — an ECU modification will likely void any remaining factory powertrain warranty.
- Legal use — certain calibrations are for off-road and competition use only. Compliance with federal, state and local emissions law is the buyer's responsibility.
- Risk and liability — the customer assumes the risk of modification. Our liability is limited to the price of the tuning service.
Note: Tuning services are non-refundable once the file has been delivered. The service is complete at delivery. Full terms are on our Terms of Service page.
