Buying hardware and a tune separately is how most people end up disappointed. Sport cats without a recalibration give you sound and very little else. A flash on a restricted exhaust runs into the same bottleneck the factory was working around. The gains people quote for either one usually assume the other is already done.

These packages pair the two so the calibration is developed for the hardware you're actually running, and you pay one price instead of finding out later that you need the second half.
