Bilstein struts and strut assemblies for Porsche. Where a 911, Boxster or Cayman uses a strut rather than a separate damper, this is the part that carries the suspension load and controls the wheel.
Strut cartridge or complete assembly? A cartridge is the damping insert alone — the correct choice when your strut housings are sound and you're rebuilding them. A complete assembly arrives ready to bolt in, which saves labour and avoids pressing a cartridge into a tired housing. Each listing states which it is.
Which line do you need?
- B4 OE Replacement — restores factory ride and handling. For worn originals.
- B6 Performance — firmer and more controlled at factory ride height, with your standard springs.
- B8 Performance Plus — shortened, for lowered cars only. Correct travel when running lowering springs; wrong on a stock-height car.
- DampTronic — for cars with PASM or other electronic damping control.
Sold individually. Two required per axle. Every listing states front or rear and the exact vehicles it fits.
An alignment is required after any strut replacement. All Bilstein products are made in Germany and carry a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects.
